About Elva Elva Martin is a Bible teacher and freelance writer who loves to network with friends. She has been published in Home Life, Decision, Charisma, and Pentecostal Evangel, Mature Living and other periodicals and newspapers. She has contributed to two books. She has recently finished writing her first Christian Romance novel, Tender Deception--an earthly story with several heavenly meanings--and her agent, Les Stobbe is seeking a publisher for the book.
Elva is founder and president of the Upstate SC American Christian Writers' Chapter and Director of the Carolina Christian Writers Workshop. Shealso coordinates an email Prayer Task Force.
She and her husband Dwayne are retired pastors and minister in nursing homes, churches and senior groups and wherever the Lord opens a door, including grocery store lines, elevators, doctor offices..well, you get the picture.They live in Anderson, South Carolina, USA. They are the parents of one son, Tim, a law officer, and a grandson, Samuel. Here are some family photos!

Greenville, S.C. Tim is an investigator with the Greenville Sheriff's Office and Pam works as a paralegal.
Our minature Dachshund, Penny was our "baby" until Samuel came bouncing into our world. Update: To our shock and sorrow, Penny had to be put to sleep December 16, 2009, due to sudden spine paralysis which would not repond to treatment. --We will be looking for a puppy in the Spring. We love toy dachs.
